FOOD ALLERGIES

Now that Sally is running the Bistro, sales of food have increased, particularly Sally’s Specials, almost as quick as she makes them, they sell out.

It is important that the Club comply with all regulations concerning the handling, preparation and serving of food, both hot and cold. This is for your safety and peace of mind

Therefore, you will be asked each time that you order if you have any allergies.

However, we would ask you all to follow the instructions below:

  • “Before placing your order, please inform the member of staff taking your order if a person or persons in your party have a food allergy.”
  • “Food prepared in our kitchen may contain or come into contact with the following allergens: milk, eggs, wheat, peanuts, and tree nuts. Please speak to a member of staff if you have an allergy.”

The Bar

As we are a free house we are not limited to what a brewery wants us to sell. Apart from the most popular beers we also stock guest beer supplied by local micro breweries.

The Great House Bistro

Keeping a well stocked bar with wines, spirits and beers is one thing but having good quality food to compliment it is essential. We try to provide a varied menu, from a simple snack to a complete dining experience.
