ABOUT US

The Con Club is a unique space in the heart of Braintree. You can find us in the town square in our imposing Grade II listed building.

The Constitutional Club dates back to the early years of the last century. It has always been a place where we serve great food and drink in comfortable surroundings. So, if you’re in town and need to relax for a while we’re always here .

The Bar

As we are a free house we are not limited to what a brewery wants us to sell. Apart from the most popular beers we also stock guest beer supplied by local micro breweries.

The Great House Bistro

Keeping a well stocked bar with wines, spirits and beers is one thing but having good quality food to compliment it is essential. We try to provide a varied menu, from a simple snack to a complete dining experience.
